Spectrum is an informal group that meets every Friday 10.30am- 12 over cakes and a cuppa.
If you are a parent or carer of someone (whatever their age) who has autism you are welcome to join us.
It is very easy to feel isolated, so we hope you will come along and chat to other people about your struggles and achievements. It can be comforting to speak to other families from similar backgrounds and discuss which strategies worked best for you or them.
We hope this group will offer a supportive environment, as we see parents come together and discuss ways in which they helped their families.
There is also a support worker available who can offer help and advice should you need it, and individual appointments can be made if you need more support.
